Days of Rain
#WithoutYou
I wonder why it happens, the way it does The way weather always, reflects my mood, Bright are those days, is my happiness the cause At days that are dark, it just won't feel good
Gloomy are those days, lonely that I feel When pain is in my heart, that only you can heal But rains are most delightful, the way it downpours Cause it's when I miss you the most, and miss our daily chores
As every drop that drips, down the windowpane, Reminds me of you; memories down the lane Of how we have come, to be who we are Of how did we link, to come to this far
Days we don't meet, are the coldest of all No sight of your smile, nor your pleasant call; And days you ignore, are darkest you know The way I get hurt, far more than I show
May be rain's a part, a part of my story Of no single glimpse of you, just bits of memory Drunk as I am, with shots of caffeine So Drunk in love, the way never been
See those drops fall, and count each of them Is all that I do, unless that you came Should hold up my tears, or should I let go Feeling nostalgic, with those drops on my window... #Missing #Love #SerendipitousSoul #RainyDays #Sad #instapoetry @writers_around #writers_around #communityofpoetry #newcopoetry
