Opening poem
poem
Like a pinch of sugar in a cup of hot tea
Or a dust of caffiene over that hot mocha chai
Like the sweetness of cherry on the top of cake
Or the dust of light sugar on top of that hot cookie
Such is you smile, such is your warmth
As you make a way through my heart and claim it all over
Who would have thought a heart so broken, so wrecked
Would ever be picked up and fixed up again
Piece by piece and meet after meet
You make the gestures undeniable
And yet you deny to comprehend
The beauty of this all?
