I struggle to find peace in the chaos For these days, I have been captivated Engulfed deep within the whirlpool of madness The one where uncertainty feels aggrevated
Lately, I find myself serenading in isolation Not to the beats of joy nor those of happiness For mere melancholy of sadness and betrayal remain Drowning me deep into the world of darkness
As I retrospect, I see myself - a complete soul Quite opposite to what defines me as of now And slowly as I try to pen down my thoughts I run out of words to portray somehow
For I'm lost in the world of chasers today Where every single one fights their way through And here I am trying to figure out my own chase For I'm unbeknownst to the role I'd play to
Well I'm scared for I see no hope in my heart The one that once had been sowed deep But before the reap, it got thrashed so hard And wretched I fell, just scared to leap
Forever scared to take a faith leap!
