poem
Into the Ashes
Like the fire that once was set ablazed, right now sits dead turned down to ash Like the heart that once was set uncaged right now sits bound under the lash
Perhaps the wind did call upon to wash away the pain and storm Instead she lays now all erased Memories and dreams, turned down to trash
Like a lost wanderer, who lost her way She tramps around; stays astray Like birds that sing songs of bereft lost love lost friends alone she is left
Like the fire thats left, not cared to die Confused of all, she wonders why For what she knows is what she had been Once all in bloom; for all, a kin
Her fate upon, she stays enraged; Her thoughts, leave her, set all agazed For she was the fire, that once ablazed Turned down to ash, Well, right now, it's dead!!! @share_a_poem #shareapoemsub @shareyourpoem @thetitlshift #instapoetry @writers_around #writers_around #write_o_mania @write_o_mania @writersnepal #writersnepal #instapoetrygram @silverleafpoetry @writers_den_ #writers_den @writersnetwork #writers_network @awritersbusiness #rachellejonespoetrycontest @poems.of.geode.skies
