THE SILENCE
I've lost the count on the days this time Those of which there's this eerie silence Of those since when you bade goodbye Sworn never to call upon since hence
I've lost all senses and desires this time Of being in love and of being loved For what you left of me is not a soul But a question just left never to be solved
The end was quite a drastic one Never knew it would ever come For I dreamed of those infinities and forevers While you felt all bothersome
If what makes good is this we have If thats what makes you relieved Shall I just keep this heart in cage And shut down to make you believed
Shall I just let the hold let go Of hold we were to keep For where no signs of love there is No point is there to weep
What hurted was not that you did let go But how you did-did hurt The words that punched right over there Ripped all feelings apart
This awkward silence we've been in now Is left of what we had The way that you made things turn around You let go, now it's sad Still wish you never had!
