I quench my thirsts of wanderlust

In the rays and hues of dusk and dawn

When the rays of the sun hits that eternal spot

It feeds my soul with utmost joy and fun

I feel the connection somehow

With the warmth I drench myself in the day

As if I have been hugged tight in your embrace

Is it mere a coincidence in the name, in play?

For you are as fierce and bold as the sun

But heart bleedingly soulful like them sunsets

Calm and peaceful as the morning glares

So loving and caring, as no one even gets

While I am the moon, seeking your presence

For my radiance, my glow is your grace

And without the rays, I lose myself in the dark

You are the reason to the smile on my face

And like the sun and the moon are always on sync

I promise to look up to you in the depth of darkness

Never giving up, despite our nature and differences
